Duma 'Boss' Beseni

Actor name: Siphiwe Hlabangane
Role: Duma, lottery owner and co-owner of the B&B

Duma Beseni is 32 years old and he is called Boss. He is also a Millionaire BUT not really. Winning 5 million rand changed his life. Only six months ago he lived in an outhouse behind his doting mother Ma Magcina in Kagiso Township. One day proud Duma hit the Road in his new fancy car blasting the radio like a boss and he met Buhle at a taxi rank in Randburg. It was love at first sight. Buhle

Actor name: Asanda Maku
Role: Duma's wife and co-owner of the B&B

At the age of 30, Nobuhle needed a husband. Of course she was never going to settle for anything less than a man who loved her for all her eccentricities. All she has is her looks and her ditsy personality and her resourcefulness that manages to get her out of tricky situations. She has a Diploma is Cosmetology. Then one day she met Duma after her grocery shopping. Duma offered her and her son a new beginning in a new town, Muldersdrift.

Cuba

Actor name: Thembaletu Ntuli
Role: Buhle's son and stepson to Duma (Boss)

Cuba is a 13 year old boy and is a love child from Buhle’s  previous relationship before she met Duma. Duma & Buhle treat Cuba as if he is just a child, yet he knows much more, thanks to the internet and his genius mind. Little do his parents know that Cuba is an App developer and it brings him good money.

Cuba is a good and intelligent kid.

Zwe

Actor name: Mackmillan Leshumo

Role: Jack of all trades, Chauffeur and Duma's Uncle

Dumezweni Beseni (Nicknamed Zwe) is 27 years old and he is not the brightest crayon in the box, but he knows how to successfully use his intuitive skills to his advantage. He is easily confused and well meaning.
He grew up in Rural Hemmersdale and to him the B&B is the height of luxury.
Zwe is Bosso’s uncle and he five years younger than Boss.

Thandi

Actor name: Mpume Ngwenya
Role: Front of B&B/ Waitress

Thandi is 22 years old and she is the operational mastermind behind the B&B. She is inherited from the previous B&B Owners. She studies part time and earns her tuition money by working at the B&B. She dreams of bigger world outside Muldersdrift. Thandi is attractive and petite; she has a good sense of humour and the best poker face ever.

Ma Mgcina

Actor name: Marah Louw
Role: Mother in Law/ Duma's Mother

54-year-old Ma Mgcina is Duma’s mother. She is a retired teacher. She used her severance package to extend the house and to build the tuck shop she used to run with Duma in Kagiso. Duma messed up the Tuck shop, but because she loves him she still had not chased him out. She is possessive of Duma and she does not get on too well with her daughter in law Buhle. She does not hate Buhle, however she feels the need to always remind her that she is the number one woman in Duma’s Life.

Dolce

Actor name: Monde Sibisi
Role: Fashion Stylist

30 year old, Dolce knows how to do it well, from weaves to manicures. He works for Buhle in the B&B’s beauty spa. He is amazing at his craft and most often saves clients from Buhle’s disastrous beauty techniques. He is well connected within the political circuit and lives a fabulous life thanks to his secret lovers.
